McPIG (McGill Psychiatry Interest Group) is pleased to invite you to a dynamic discussion about how to talk with "difficult" patients -- with special guests Dr Ronald Fraser and Dr Melanie Bilbul!

No matter what your field of medicine, you'll encounter "difficult" patients. What does this mean, exactly? Who is the "difficult" patient, and what makes them be considered as such? What clinical skills and knowledge does consideration of the "difficult" patient call upon us to develop?

Come for stories, tips, and clinical approaches for working with challenging patients. As usual, dinner will be provided!

We will be joined by:
Dr Ronald Fraser (Head, Inpatient Detoxification Services, Addictions Unit, & Director, Extended Care Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic at the MUHC)
Dr Melanie Bilbul (Psychiatry Resident at McGill, Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic at JGH)
