ACE Tips!
- Do not panic when trying to learn all the antibiotics and bacteria characteristics. These will come up over and over again during your future rotations and eventually you will know them. Try and review them multiple times during the block and this should help you. Focus on the ones that come up repeatedly.
- This block has weekly quizzes. By keeping up with your weekly material, you can earn grades incrementally, which may take pressure off the final. They give a good idea of how you’re progressing.
- Try to focus on distinguishing different agents in the parasitemia section. A table can help summarize and distinguish key features.
- You might notice that you start to have more writing pieces/assignments for the longitudinal classes around this block. Highly recommended that you start these sooner rather than later, to have more time to study when you really need it!
