About the club

The Indigenous Health Outreach Club is committed to raising awareness about healthcare disparities Indigenous populations face in Canada. Our mission is to create a community where Indigenous and non-Indigenous medical students join to learn about various Indigenous cultures and practices, particularly within a medicinal context. Through talks, activities, and helpful documents, we aim to highlight traditional healing practices and foster a sense of community with meaningful conversations and cultural exchanges. The Indigenous Health Outreach Club strives to bridge gaps in understanding, promote cultural appreciation, and actively address healthcare disparities through education, community building, and service initiatives.
