About the club

McPIG is the Medical Students’ Society of McGill University (MSS) Psychiatry Interest Group. It aims to pique students’ curiosity for the exciting, multidimensional field of psychiatry, a medical specialty dealing with diseases of the mind. Our mission is to contribute to the radiation of the whole of psychiatry and its related disciplines. To this end, we invite students to join us in learning about the different facets of McGill’s immensely diverse program. Whether it’s psychotherapy or neuropharmacology, transcultural or gender identity, psychosis or mood, clinical work or research, skill set workshops or engaging discussions with psychiatrists and allied experts, the McPIG has you covered!
