We are accepting motions from the general student body through the following form: Motion Submission Form, or by emailing them directly to Laurence Potvin.
If you don’t know how to write a motion, you can follow the instructions to do so here.
Andre Lametti, one of our past Senator, created a Sample Motion for reference. You can always contact both Laurence or Liam, GAAC officer, for any questions about the process.
We will be accepting submissions until March 28th @ 7 PM. The agenda will be sent out on March 29th.
For your reference, please see the MSS Constitution here, as well as the Agenda and Minutes from previous General Assemblies in the tabs below.
As well, here are our Standing Rules to give a brief overview of the proceedings of the Assembly, and to explain the basics of how it works!
More in-depth information can be found within our Internal Regulations, or by consulting the most recent edition of Robert’s Rules of Order.
Please fill out this Google FORM to confirm your attendance, and follow along by pressing going on the Facebook Event to stay up-to-date with the latest information!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Laurence Potvin at vice-president.mss@mail.mcgill.ca
